Second Chances for Senior Tails
We are a New York City–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring the unconditional love of senior dogs by rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming older dogs who are often overlooked and at risk of spending their final years without comfort or care, inspired by Skye’s spirit and committed to giving senior dogs the dignity, safety, and love they deserve.
Project Skye is dedicated to easing the financial and emotional burdens of caring for senior dogs by providing grants to families and rescues. While grant-giving is our core mission, we also step in to foster and rescue a small number of seniors when there is an urgent need.
