Fiona is ready for the good life! Found in a Connecticut swamp over the summer, she was found malnourished, severely matted, and dealing with painful dental issues. With proper nutrition, medical care, and lots of patience, she’s made an incredible transformation.

Today, Fiona is a healthier, more confident girl who greets new people with a wagging tail and happily asks for pets. She loves being near her people while still enjoying her independence and peaceful naps. She gets along well with other dogs, though she appreciates having her own space while resting.

Fiona has a heart murmur and mild ongoing anemia that will need monitoring, but she’s come a long way and is ready for a home where she can enjoy her golden years in comfort.
